How to Manage Amenities for Your Property
Hosts can configure over 200 amenities for each property in their Holidu account. These amenities are grouped into categories to make it easier to highlight everything your accommodation offers.
Accessing the Amenities Section
- Log in to your Holidu Host account.
- Select the property you’d like to edit.
- Go to Configuration > Amenities.
On the left-hand side, you’ll see a list of categories, each showing how many amenities are selected (e.g. 3/38).
- Click a category title to open it directly.
- Or scroll through the list on the right-hand side to view and edit all categories.
Editing Amenities
- Toggle an amenity on (green) to activate it; toggle off (grey) to deactivate.
- If an amenity carries an extra cost (e.g., towels, parking), you can add the price directly.
- All changes are auto-saved as you make them.
- Updates may take up to 24 hours to appear across the distribution platforms.
Important: Amenities you configure must be available free of charge at all times, unless a fee option exists (e.g., high chair, baby cot, towels, bed linen). If you only offer them for an extra cost outside of Holidu’s fee options, they cannot be marked as amenities. Instead, you can highlight them in your property description.
Why Keeping Amenities Up to Date Matters
Your amenities don’t just help guests filter for their ideal stay — they also directly feed into your property description.
Keeping this section complete and accurate ensures that:
- Guests have the right expectations before booking.
- Your property description (generated by AI or written by you) is detailed and reliable.
- You avoid cancellations or compensation claims caused by missing or inaccurate information.

Best Practices
- Review your amenities regularly, especially after renovations, upgrades, or seasonal changes (e.g., opening a pool for summer).
- Double-check amenities before peak booking seasons to avoid cancellations or negative reviews.
- Provide free amenities whenever possible — it increases guest satisfaction and makes your listing more competitive.
- If you stop offering an amenity, inform affected guests immediately and confirm in writing that they are fine with the change.
