Changing the property owner in Holidu means transferring your property from one account holder (host) to another. This ensures that payouts, contracts, and responsibilities are correctly assigned to the new owner.
What "Changing the Owner" Means
The owner in Holidu is the account holder responsible for managing the property. When you change the owner, you're migrating the property from your current account to a new host's account. This process requires a signed contract with the new account holder and ensures all future bookings and payments are properly attributed.
Rules and Conditions
- One property at a time – You can only transfer one property per request. Bulk transfers are not available.
- Independent contract required – The new account holder must sign their own contract independently of yours.
- Booking cutoff date – Bookings confirmed before the ownership change are invoiced to the previous owner. Bookings confirmed after the change go to the new owner.
- Onboarding fee – This fee is charged only once per property. If already paid by you, it won't be charged again. If not yet charged, it will be deducted from the new owner's first payout after their first booking.
Impact on Payments and Invoicing
Your payments: You'll continue to receive payouts and invoices for all bookings confirmed before the migration date.
New owner's payments: They'll receive payouts and invoices for all bookings confirmed after the migration date.
Booking visibility: Please note that bookings made before the ownership change may have limited visibility or may not automatically appear in the new account. If you need existing bookings to be visible and manageable under the new owner's account, this must be explicitly requested from the Holidu Team.
