Important Information About Professional Photos

• Photos taken by Holidu professionals are not reviewed before they go live on your listing. Our photography team selects and orders them based on channel performance data.
• All hosts, including those with professional Holidu photos, can fully manage their photo galleries.
• Holidu keeps a backup of all professional photos. If you delete one by mistake, you can contact our support team through the Assistant to request restoration.
• Professional photos are the property of Holidu and are not available for purchase by hosts.

Photo Gallery Best Practices

• The first photo in your gallery is used as the main display image across partner channels, so choose your best shot for the cover.
• Gallery order affects booking performance. Use high-quality, well-lit photos for your cover shot and first few images.
• Upload at least 10 photos to give potential guests a comprehensive view of your property.
• Use good lighting to capture the best shots of your space.
• Use wide angles to capture the full scope of your property and rooms.
• Take photos in landscape orientation.

Technical Requirements

• Supported formats: JPG, PNG, HEIC/HEIF, WebP, TIFF, and AVIF (within platform file-size limits)
• Minimum resolution: 1,024 × 768 pixels
• Recommended resolution: 2,000 pixels on the long edge for high-quality images
• Photos must be in landscape orientation
• Videos are not supported—images only

How to Add, Delete, and Reorder Your Photos

Managing your property photos on Holidu is straightforward. Follow these steps to update your gallery:

1. Log in to your Holidu host account and select the property you want to edit.
2. Click the Photos tab in the property navigation bar.
3. To add new photos, click Add Photo and upload images from your device. If using the Holidu app, allow Holidu to access images from your phone first.
4. To delete a photo, click on it and select Delete, then confirm your action. Holidu keeps a backup of all photos, so deleted images can be restored on request by contacting support through the Assistant.
5. To reorder your photos, click and hold a photo, drag it to the position where you want it, and drop it in place.
6. Click Save changes after making any edits so your updates take effect immediately on your listing.

To ensure your photo gallery attracts bookings, remember that potential guests make split-second decisions based on your images. Start with your most impressive photo as your cover image, arrange additional photos logically (for example: living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, outdoor spaces, amenities), and ensure consistent quality throughout.
