Holidu Professional Photography Service
Holidu offers a free professional photography service to help your property shine. However, there are important details you should know:
Availability: The professional photography service is only available in Focus Regions. In certain areas, the service may not be available. Availability depends on photographer coverage in the specific geographic area. Not all properties are automatically eligible.

Important Information About Professional Photos
- Photos taken by Holidu professionals are not reviewed before they go live on your listing. Our photography team selects and orders them based on channel performance data.
- All hosts, including those with professional Holidu photos, can fully manage their galleries.
- Holidu keeps a backup of all professional photos. If you delete one by mistake, please contact support through the Assistant to restore it.
- Professional photos are the property of Holidu and are not available for purchase by hosts.
Guidelines for Uploading Your Own Photos
Whether you're supplementing professional photos or uploading your own images, follow these best practices to ensure your gallery performs well:
Photo Specifications
- Format: Supported formats are JPG, PNG, HEIC/HEIF, WebP, TIFF, and AVIF, within the platform's file-size limits.
- Orientation: Photos must be in landscape orientation.
- Minimum Resolution: 1,024 × 768 pixels.
- Recommended Resolution: 2,000 pixels on the long edge for high-quality images.
- Format Limitation: Videos are not supported. Images only.
Photography Tips
- Use good lighting to capture the best shots. Natural light often works best for property photos.
- Use wide angles to capture the full scope of your property and make spaces feel larger.
- The first photo in the gallery is used as the main display image across partner channels. Choose your best photo for this position.
- Gallery order affects booking performance—use high-quality, well-lit photos for your cover shot and first few images.
- Upload at least 10 photos to give potential guests a comprehensive view of your property.
How to Manage Your Photo Gallery
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log in to your Holidu host account and select the property you want to edit.
- Click the Photos tab in the property navigation bar.
- To add new photos, click Add Photo and upload images from your device. If using the Holidu app, allow Holidu to access images from your phone first.
- To delete a photo, click on it and select Delete, then confirm your action. Remember that Holidu keeps a backup of all photos, so deleted images can be restored upon request.
- To reorder your photos, click and hold a photo, drag it to the position you want, and drop it in place.
- Click Save changes after any edit to ensure your updates take effect on your listing.
Maximizing Your Photo Gallery's Performance
Strategic photo ordering can significantly impact your booking performance. Consider these recommendations:
- Place your most appealing photo first—this is what guests see as your listing's cover image.
