If you notice an incorrect address associated with your property, you can correct or report the issue directly in the Holidu PMS. Follow these steps based on the scenario and portal involved.
Steps to Edit Your Property Address
- Go to the Location tab of the property in the PMS.
- Review the current address details.
- If there is an error, click on Fix or report an issue.
- You will be prompted to select one of the following scenarios.
Address Correction Scenarios
Scenario A: The address is wrong in Holidu App
If your property address is incorrect in the Holidu App, follow these steps:
- Edit the address fields directly with the correct information.
- Adjust or verify the Pin coordinates as prompted to ensure accurate location mapping.
- Upload a recent utility bill showing your property address to verify the change for external channels.
Scenario B: The address is correct in the Holidu App, but wrong in portal(s)
If your address is accurate in the Holidu App but appears incorrect on external booking platforms, follow these steps:
- Indicate which portal(s) have the issue - whether it is one, multiple, or all connected platforms.
- You do not need to re-enter the address since the address in the Holidu App is already correct.
- If Booking.com is selected, you will be required to upload a utility bill to process the update.
Completing Your Request
Submit your request or save changes as prompted. Once the change is submitted, no additional steps are required from you.
Documentation Requirements
A recent utility bill is mandatory to process address changes for external channels, especially Booking.com. This utility bill must clearly show your property address and be legible for verification purposes.
Processing Times
Address updates are processed at different speeds depending on which platforms are affected:
- Holidu group sites and other channels: Instant update after you save the changes in your host account.
- Airbnb and Booking.com: Typical update times of 7 to 14 days.
Please allow the full processing period before expecting the updated address to appear on external booking platforms.
Best Practices
To ensure a smooth address update process, we recommend:
- Double-check the address format and Pin location before submitting your request.
- Ensure utility bill documents are clear, legible, and show your complete property address.
- For urgent channel issues, consider informing guests about the ongoing address update if necessary.
Grace Period
Please note that there is a 24-hour grace period for address changes. This allows our system to process and verify the updates before they are reflected across all platforms.
