Holidu's online check-in feature simplifies this process by automating guest data collection and enabling automatic transmission to the Alloggiati Web portal managed by the Italian State Police.

Who Must Comply?

All types of accommodation providers, including holiday rental hosts, are legally required to comply with Italian guest registration regulations. Failure to report guest information may result in penalties, including fines or imprisonment.

Information Required

Hosts must collect and report the following details for the main guest:

• Full name
• Date of birth
• Nationality
• Passport or ID number
• Date of arrival
• Place of birth

Guest Documentation Requirements

• Only the main guest must provide the type and number of their ID document
• Additional guests must provide basic personal information (full name, date of birth, nationality), but document numbers are not required
• Only one guest per booking needs to provide identification document details for compliance purposes

How to Connect Your Property to Alloggiati Web

Important Note

This connection process must be completed on a computer (PC). The Alloggiati Web platform may not display all options correctly on mobile devices or tablets. If you are using the Holidu mobile app, ensure you have the latest version installed.

Step-by-Step Connection Guide

1. In your Holidu App, navigate to Tools and then Online check-in
2. You will see your list of properties. Click Configure next to the property you want to connect to Alloggiati Web
3. Complete the form by selecting:
   • Activate automatic sending to an authority
   • Authority: Alloggiati Web
   • Enter your Alloggiati Web username, password, and service key
   • Click Validate to verify your credentials
4. Click Save changes at the bottom of the form
5. If no error message appears, your property is now successfully connected to Alloggiati Web
6. Close the form and confirm the connection is active

Where to Find Your Alloggiati Web Credentials

Retrieving Your Web Service Key

To connect your property, you will need your Alloggiati Web username, password, and Web Service key.

Steps to Generate or Retrieve Your Web Service Key

1. Log into your Alloggiati Web account at the official portal
2. Click on your account name located in the top right corner
3. Select Chiave Web service (Web Service Key)
4. If you already have an existing code, copy and paste it into Holidu
5. If you need a new code, click Genera Nuovo Codice to generate one
6. Enter the new Web Service key into your Holidu property settings

Important Credential Information

• You can only generate one new Web Service key per day
• Every time you change your Alloggiati Web password, you must also update the Web Service key in your Holidu account

Data Transmission Timing

Guest information is automatically transmitted to Alloggiati Web according to the following schedule:

• For one-night stays: data is transmitted at 11:00 PM on the check-in date
• For stays of two nights or more: data is transmitted at 11:00 PM on the day after check-in

Guestbook Records

You can download guestbooks for your records at any time through the Holidu platform. Complete document information will display for only one guest per booking (the main guest), while the document fields for additional guests will appear as empty, in compliance with Italian regulations.
