How do I create a new property listing?

Creating a new property listing on Holidu is straightforward. Follow these steps to get your property online and start accepting bookings.

Step 1: Log In to Your Account

Start by logging into your Holidu account. Once logged in, click on "Properties" from your dashboard to begin the property creation process.

Step 2: Add a New Property

Look for the "+ Add Property" button in the top left corner (desktop) or "+ Add" in the bottom right corner (mobile app). Click this button to start setting up your new listing.

Step 3: Choose Your Property Structure

Select whether your property is a single structure with one dwelling unit or a multi-unit property with several units at the same address. Pick the option that best describes your property.

Step 4: Import Existing Information (Optional)

If your property is already listed on other booking platforms like Booking.com or Airbnb, you can import some of your listing information directly to Holidu. This speeds up the setup process significantly. If this is your first listing, simply skip this step.

Step 5: Enter Property Details

Property Name

Give your property a clear, descriptive name that helps potential guests understand what they're booking.

Property Type and Guest Capacity

Select your property type (for example: apartment, villa, finca, chalet, vacation home, or hotel-apartment) and specify the maximum number of guests it can accommodate. Note that the maximum guest capacity cannot exceed your total sleeping places once you configure your rooms and beds.

Step 6: Set Your Property Location

Enter your property's full address and adjust the map pin to mark the exact location. Accurate location information helps guests find and book your property.

Step 7: Provide Host Email (Property Managers Only)

If you're managing a property on behalf of a host, enter the email address associated with the host's account.

What Happens Next?

Your property is now created with its basic information. Before your listing goes live, you'll need to add photos, write descriptions, and complete additional configuration details. Once you've finished these steps, click "Request Publication" to submit your listing.

After submission, your Account Manager will contact you to verify all details and publish your listing across Holidu's distribution channels.

Important Restrictions

• Hotel rooms and rentals where you (the host) reside in the same property during the guest's stay cannot be listed
• It is not currently possible to set a minimum number of guests—you can only specify a maximum capacity
• Your declared guest capacity must not exceed the total sleeping places provided by your configured rooms and beds
