Changing Bank Details for Non-Verified Accounts
If your account has not completed Adyen's bank account verification process, you can update your bank details by following these steps:
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log in to your Holidu account
- Click on the Holidu Logo in the top right corner
- Select "Account" from the menu
- Scroll down to the "Bank information" section
- Click on "Edit"
A new window will open where you need to provide the following information:
- Your new IBAN (delete the old one and enter the new one)
- The account holder's name
- Bank verification document proving the account belongs to you (a document from your bank showing the account holder's name and IBAN)
Important Information
- An IBAN (International Bank Account Number) uniquely identifies your bank account worldwide. Find it in your online banking portal or account statements
- The bank account must belong to the same person or company registered with your Holidu account
- For company accounts, payments can only go to the company's IBAN matching your registered business name
- Your bank verification document must be clear, recent, and show both the account holder name and IBAN
- Holidu only processes payments to EUR accounts
- Your IBAN won't change automatically. Our financial team will review and approve or reject your request
Changing Bank Details for Verified Accounts
If your account has already completed Adyen's verification process, follow these steps to update your bank details:
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log in to your Holidu account
- Click on the Holidu Logo in the top right corner
- Select "Account" from the menu
- Scroll down to the "Bank information" section
- Click on "Edit"
The Adyen bank details tab will open:
- Click on the right-hand side of your current IBAN
- Delete the current IBAN number
- Enter your new IBAN number
Make sure the bank account holder matches your Holidu account owner (for companies, use the registered company name). Choose one of these verification methods:
Instant Verification
Available in most countries (not available in Greece, Austria, or Italy)
- Search and select your online banking provider
- Log into your online banking through Tink (our verified partner)
- Your login credentials are not saved for security purposes and only verify your account
Manual Verification
- Enter your details and upload a bank document as proof
- The document must be dated within the last 12 months
- It must show your name and visible IBAN
- For non-EU residents, it must display the bank location
- Verification typically takes up to 72 hours
