The views from the garden are breathtakingly beautiful incorporating the Gull Islands off the coast of Aberdaron, perfect for a sundowner at the end of a fun-filled day. Aberdaron Spar has a butchers shop within, selling local cuts for your barbecue.
If you prefer seafood, try the crab cakes from the local fish bar. There is a delightful bakery, with an outdoor seating area as well as a wide variety of takeaway savoury and sweet treats for your day on the beach.
There are several top-notch eating places in the village, two pubs and a newsagents/off license.
An ice cream parlour and gift shop are just off the beach.
Between March and October you can enjoy the Bardsey Island boat trip, the 12 seater leaves from Porth Meudwy, a short drive from Aberdaron.
You can expect to spot Seals, Porpoises and a fabulous diversity of seabirds during the journey.
You’ll also get to spend 4hrs doing your own this on this magical, mystical Island.

A lovely bungalow with a great view over the islands. Great for walking into Aberdaron and if you're fitter, Porthor. Also excellent for the costal path round the peninsular with its Geocaches.
It was nice to meet owner Alun and found him very friendly and helpful.

We went here for 3 nights. Cottage was very clean and fully equipped. Amazing sea views and surrounded by sheep in the fields. 2 minute drive to the village with a bakery and Spar. There is a play area also but you could miss it as it looks like your going into someone’s drive. The kids enjoyed padd...
