Our story
Holidu was founded in Munich in 2014 by Johannes and Michael Siebers after they had a frustrating experience booking a holiday apartment for a surfing holiday in Portugal.
The brothers noticed that many homes were listed on multiple websites with different prices and availability.
For guests, a lack of transparency means there's a risk of overpaying, while for hosts, it can lead to overbooking and unpleasant situations.
They made it their mission to solve this problem, transforming the holiday rental experience to be full of joy, confidence and free of doubt.
Today, that mission has grown into a trusted solution for tens of thousands of hosts and millions of guests worldwide. Guests confidently book their holiday home on our holiday rental platform, while hosts rely on Holidu's software and service-solution to receive more bookings with less effort.
